SOWING SEEDS

A gesture-based film created in residence at Ferme L’Apogée, a certified organic permaculture farm in the Dordogne, France. The work traces the movement of cultivating hands through the lens of the cultivator, reflecting on humanity’s deep ties to agriculture and the long arc from early cultivation to the Anthropocene.

The film premiered on April 18, 2024, at Ferme L’Apogée as part of a donation-based event, with all proceeds supporting the farm’s ecological initiatives. It was later presented at the MINA Film Festival (Australia).
